Neujahrsempfang sets the scene: a moment of pause — an occasion to look back at the year behind us and to welcome what lies ahead. Reflections, projections, intentions.

Yet the next morning doesn’t come easy.
Is it exhaustion, or something deeper?
A collective weight, shaped by uncertainty, overlapping crises, fragile hopes?

What if this unease is not the aftermath of a single night,
but a reflection of a society suspended between hope, resignation, and fear —
all existing side by side?
